Upper Leg Skin Lift (Lifting Regio Femoris)
This region borders on the upward part with the groin itself, and on the frontal and rear side it reaches as far as about a half of the circumference of the leg, while towards the knee it extends to the third part of the inner section of the upper leg. With this surgical operation, an excess of the skin and the corresponding fat tissue is reduced. Pre-operational treatment includes health condition evaluation by laboratory tests of blood and urine samples. The surgical treatment can be performed under spinal or general anaesthesia. It is recommendable to be exempt from physical activity of locomotion during a few days, and wearing of over-the-knee compressive stockings is advisable. Catguts are removed in about ten days. The scar is located at the anatomical wrinkle of the groin itself, and is almost invisible.
